LETICIA BUFONI E SILVA
Leticia Bufoni is one of the most famous and popular skateboarders in the world. This girl, originally from Sao Paulo, is a star in Brazil, and even has her own television program. She started in the skate world when she was 9 years old, although she had her first skate at 11 years old. Leticia, with her style Goofy, participated in her first X Games when she was 14 years old and from then on she has mastered a unique technique that makes her a very talented skater girl internationally.
At 33, skateboarder Eliana Elosco has demonstrated unmistakable technical talent in her X Games appearances. Born in Chesapeake, Virginia (USA), Mimi Knoop has been a professional skateboarder since 2003. She has been highly recognized for obtaining five X Games medals. Additionally, she founded the Women's Skateboarding Alliance and Hoopla Skateboards to help promote skateboarding among young girls. Currently she has become a talented multimedia artist and designer. Her portfolio includes the creation of the name and logo of the Vans brand Girls Combi Pool Classic.
Pamela Rosa is a very talented young skater from San Jose dos Campo, Brazil. At the age of 20, and with her style regularRosa has won 6 X Games medals, including two golds, and competed in the Street League Skateboarding Tour (London) in 2019, taking first place. That same year she earned her second consecutive victory on the Long Beach Dew Tour. Pamela has recognized that being a skateboarder has helped her get ahead financially and she is very proud to be able to help her family because of it. Without a doubt, her technique, self-confidence and skill in the sport have led her to succeed and stand out wonderfully in the world of skate with sponsors such as Nike and Silver Trucks Brazil.
Candy Jacobs is an amazing Dutch skater, world champion of the Street Women's competition in the Netherlands. Although she is originally from Tegelen, her favorite place in the world to skate is Los Angeles (California), the mecca of sports. With her style Goofy, Candy started skateboarding in 2003, and since then she has dedicated all her free time to this sport discipline that has become her true passion. Currently skating became her full-time job and she is fascinated by it. She has participated in 10 X Games, finishing fourth in both the XGames Austin in 2016 and the XGamesNorway in 2018. In June 2019 she was third on the Dew Tour Long Beach, behind Pamela Rosa and Leticia Bufoni. Candy Jacobs is currently preparing to participate in the next Olympic Games.
Born in Pembroke, Massachusetts (USA), Nora Vasconcellos became the first girl to join legends Mark Gonzales and Song Dae-won on Adidas' renowned skate team. In addition, she inspired the brand to make a micro documentary about it and create skate shoes in her honor, the Matchcourt RX Nora, and her favorite color (pastel lilac). Being a fan of the animated television series Rocket Power, Nora started the sport from a young age, inspired by the character of Reggie, the only girl in the series who practiced extreme sports. Nora has become an internationally recognized skater, with skills and techniques that have led her to leave her anxieties behind and become the great skater she is today.
Amelia Brodka has been a professional skateboarder since 2007. Although she was born in Poland, she has spent most of her life in California. She is passionate about skateboarding, and has demonstrated her great talent and skill in her many X Games appearances around the world. In addition, she is very interested in communication and cinema. She directed the female documentary Underexposed: A Women's Skateboarding Documentary, which explores female skateboarding and gender disparities in the sport. She also co-created Exposure, a women's skateboarding championship. Amelia has excelled as the excellent skateboarder she is in international vert, park and bowl competitions for the past decade, and has sought to advocate for gender equality in this discipline.
There is no doubt that these girls know very well how to handle themselves on a skateboard!
