What is 8D music?
If you haven't heard about 8D music or 8-dimensional music yet, this post will make you freak out. It is a type of music adapted to technological modifications that really is very cool and will make you feel things that you have never perceived in conventional songs. Keep in mind that the effect plays with your perception of reality, so you will only catch it if you listen to this type of audios with the helmets on, if not, it will not work.
HOW DOES 8D MUSIC WORK?
This technology tricks your brain! As soon as we started with 8D music we began to notice how several things happen:
The song seems to be moving from left to right, and moving inside your brain. This is not really so novel in itself, but it is a novelty that is being applied today to music. It is an effect that you achieve by simply lowering or raising the relative volumes on each side of the headphones of your headphones, with which you feel that the music comes from one side of the other and you can create the sensation of movement.
But if it is true that then we notice something really new and shocking and that is that it makes us believe that a sound comes from outside your helmets, and that it is next to you sounding in reality, due to the hyperrealistic effect that this technology has.
This happens because the music not only moves from left to right as we mentioned earlier, the 8D music it is also raising and lowering its “position”, that is, the sound moves from top to bottom and rises again.
This is difficult to achieve with conventional stereo sound, and the truth is that with the speakers of your home theater you wouldn't even get it. It is a function that you only achieve with the helmets on because you are fooling your brain into thinking it is coming from outside, and not directly to your ear. With helmets the sound enters directly towards your head and that is when you perceive the movement, from left to right and from top to bottom.
The hyperrealism that this type of music causes what it really does is to hack the algorithms of your brain that detect where a sound comes from.
As we said before, this technology is not new, but it is relatively recent. In fact, it is what is commonly known as 3D audio because sound travels in three dimensions. The name 8D may be more interesting, but the truth is that in theory they are the same.
Escuchar 8D music It will send signals to your brain to look for where the sound is coming from, whether it is from the front or from behind, up or down, and this will create the feeling that music is traveling through your brain.
We see this type of technology very present nowadays in video games in which you feel that there are actions and sounds occurring from all fronts when reality, sound is entering through your ears.

Have your hair stood on end?
A function has been integrated into this music so that each equivalent voice receives the response equivalent to whether the sound came from a specific place, assuming the function of the bells in your ears that amplify a sound (if it comes from the front) or what block (if the sound is coming from behind). This technology will make your intellect believe that it is your ears that are assimilating the sound. Your brain will interpret it and believe it, generating this cool effect.
The truth is that music has never sounded as good and realistic as it does when this 8D technology is applied, in which you not only play alternating volumes from left to right but also if you were above or below the source of sound, thus playing with the three dimensions of reality: high, long and deep.
It is cool to feel that the music is playing outside the headphones! And although it is not a new technology, it is new that it is being applied to music and that is the most exciting thing of all, because nothing like listening to a little music to "escape" for a while from reality, and you will think that you are in another world!
If you have not tried listening to 8D music yet, we recommend doing it because it is great and you will not regret it. And don't forget your helmets!
