As an action photographer, the most important part of my work is the environment. Choosing the right locations is one of the most determining facets when it comes to doing a good job.
This time we will talk about my vision of snowboarding ...
I live in a town in the Pyrenees where every winter I wait patiently for the snow to come out to enjoy and work; I alternate my work as a Lifeguard Pistero in the Cerler ski resort and as an extreme action photographer.
I could say without fear of being wrong that during the winter season I am doing winter activities every day and this allows me to work in almost all the disciplines that are included in winter sports.
Focusing on Snowboarding I will tell you that having a high level of ski (I do not do Snow) allows me to get closer to the places where the real pros do their jump, trick or freeride descent, I can tell you that it is one of the facets that mark the difference in this type of photography (often the perfect location for shooting (Photoshoot)It is more complicated and requires more attention than the session itself.) This is why I surround myself with motivated riders and with knowledge of the environment where they move, I want extreme action but also security in what we do to bring everything to fruition.
But I don't roll up anymore and I leave you some more of my images from these seasons, working the action with my riders in my mountains….
See you in action.
